Conjuctions

Conjunctions:

It connects words or group of words. There are different types. They are coordinating conjunctions, correlative conjunction and subordinating conjunctions.

A coordinating conjunction is a single connecting word. eg. for, and, nor, but, or yet So (Remember by FAN BOYS from their first capital letters)

A correlative conjunctions are pairs of connecting words. There are five pair of words, both/and, either/or, neither/nor, not only/but also and whether/or.

A subordinating conjunctions which join one clause to another (for the complete as, then, that, unless, as soon as, because if, since, when, where, which etc.

e.g. Ram was fined, as he came late.
